Default Cheap Furniture in Melbourne

Hi Guys, My cousin is moving into a new house in Melbourne this weekend and the house is just a shell so he needs to buy everything, Does anyone know anywhere he could get cheap/secondhand furniture in Melb (he doesn't want to shell out thousands for furniture he'll only be using for a year or so)

Any help appreciated

Thanks

Fantastic Furniture
They are in different locations

Ikea in Richmond

Some op shops (the salvos in Abbotsford has a good selection of furniture).

Rent the furniture - it's what I did in my first two years here... Quite a few places around. This means everything too - plates, cutlery, washing machines etc etc.
