Looking to fly as cheap as possible in nov to melbourne from perth. What are the cheap airlines. Found jetstar...qouted $428 return is that reasonable???

You might get slightly cheaper with virgin blue, but maybe not at this late stage.
No point looking anywhere else, thats all there is!

I looked a couple of days ago. Like cyclemark says, the further from the departure date you book, the cheaper the flight. Have a look at Qantas domestic and Virgin Blue as they are sometimes cheaper too.

Be aware of where you land in Melbourne as if its at Avalon and you want to take a taxi may add up a bit.

Basically you have Qantas, Jetstar and Virgin about $200 each way is the cheapest you will find

Ansett used to offer internal flights to tourists at a cheaper price than Australian residents - before they went bust. Do you know if this practice if followed by any other of the airlines or is it one price for all?
