Default Cheap flights from Oz

Hi folks,

Wondering if there are any good websites or travel agents in Oz where cheap flights can be had.
I'm looking to travel from Perth to Rio de Janeiro on hoilday in July.
I think my options are going via South Africa or via Auckland/Chile.

Thanks for any info!!

Try:

www.bestflights.com.au

My family living in Oz used this company several times going between Oz and Uk and find them very cheap.

Good luck but flights are not cheap from here. I believe your main option is Aerolineas Argentinas via Auckland and Buenos Aires. That is how a Brazilian I work with went to Sau Paulo

The main sites are
www.zuji.com.au
www.webjet.com.au
www.flightcentre.com.au
www.travel.com.au
www.trailfinders.com.au

The best thing to do is look for specials and try and get a travel agent to match with your itinerary.

Sorry to say, flight centres website is as useless as tits on a bull, they quite often have cheap fares but you are much better off going into their office. Also, some of their staff are thick as 2 bricks, if you want alternative routes, you quite often have to s-p-e-l-l i-t o-u-t to them as they wont necessarily look for the cheapest, just the most popular.

We've been looking at bestflights for the last few months (as recommended by molly) for our flights back to the UK, havent used them yet but they do seem very good & have some cheap deals.

That is my experience as well. I try and find the fare from their list of specials(on the website), work out the ititerary I want then get someone to match.

One Ways, open jaws and round the worlds are hard to book online with a special price.

Flight Centre UK is just as bad.
