Moorooka magic mile might be an idea. Or the yards on the way to Chermside from the city. Name of the road escapes me right now. To be honest though I reckon you could do much better in the trading post, gumtree or carsales.com.au with private sales if you're careful. Holdens (Commodores) and Fords (Falcons) should be economical because they're made here, there's lot of them so lots of mechanics and lots of parts.
