Hi
I am going to Australia for 3 weeks in June and im hopefully going to visit the following places. Can anyone suggest some decent cheap accomodation for 2adults in the following places:-
Adelaide
Sydney
Melbourne
Brisbane
Also any suggestions for things to do or where to visit in each place.

for Brisbane, we stayed here both on our reccie trip and for a few days while we sorted out our rental when we finally moved over

What range would you determine cheap? for decent accomodation ie self contained one bed apartment (I would expect this is what you are after).

I will be staying for 20 nights so anything under £50 a night.

A backpackers hostel/lodge. Often they will have single or double rooms as well as the lower priced dorms. Also they are usually not far from entertainment and shopping districts and you can buy and cook your own food. Just be sure to label your stuff and be aware that though 99% of your fellow guests will be fine, some petty thiefs do also travel long haul! Ask manager to place your valuable documents in the safe. Carry minimum cash.
