Are gonna fly into Perth, spend a couple of weeks checking it out, then off to Adelaide for a few days to meet up with cousin and family and check it out there...then gonna fly to Brissie and check that out!!

Anyone else planning on moving out there with no idea where they want to live?

BTW, we dont intend to do a validation trip, just gonna go for it!!

Are we crazy?

No you are not crazy, just go for it, life is too short to wonder what if. How exciting, i wish we could have done that, although we new where we was going, but still wish we could have done a bit of jet setting. Denise

Thanx to all for the words of encouragement....we initially discounted Perth completely for Brisbane, but with both of us being HUGE beach lovers, have decided to reinstate it into our list of maybes!!

Brissie seems great in all ways but for the fact you need to get in the car and drive for miles to find a decent beach whereas Perth has it on the doorstep..........oh yeah, and that humidity thing has kinda got us worried!! :o

On the other hand, Perth does seem very isolated and with us both having serious Attention Deficit Disorder, don't know how long it would be before we got itchy feet again!!

Oh, decisions, decisions......time will tell I guess!!

Perth is not isolated at all, we have the beautiful south west, Bunbury Dunsborough, Margaret river, and many more, then ther are lots of places North. I dont feel at all isolated, here in Bunbury. And we have the most beautiful beaches here, you must come and see for yourself, Denise

Hi

We have no idea where we are going to settle either. We travelled over there about 4 years ago, so we have some idea of where we like. But we are going to travel again as I didn't travel north of Sydney so would like to have a look.

We haven't got any children so it will be a lot easier, and we won't be as pressured to settle somewhere straight away.

We are just going to see what happens and play everything by ear.
