Question change in skill list

i think that i cannot get enough points for my qualification/work experience so looking at retraining in something that i have always wanted to and gaining work experience before applying again. the job i will be training in is on the skilled occupation list now but how quickly does this list change and how has it changed in the last few years????????

thanks

dan

You also need to have spent a certain amount of time working at your occupation, its not just a matter of picking a course, getting a qualification, then appliying for visa, and getting it.
Hopefully your looking longterm?
what are you intending to do out of interest?

i am looking at getting out of my current situation within the next 2 years, whuich will mean selling my business. i have a few courses that i have always wanted to do but need to narrow them down.

i already have a degree so a post grad course will benefit me the most, i am also a qualified firefighter so doing something which is specific to this job may also help

or as i posted before i was looking at tree surgeon (arboriculture). u can do a 3 month intensive course then work 12 months or more then apply to oz

other courses are
countryside management (although this would not be on a skill list)

i was also thinking if it was more of a long term course then i would do my masters in forensic investigation, but again i dont think this is on the skill list and then trying to specify in fire investigation

lots of options open, lots of decisions to make, bit head banging really, still if i can get to oz in the next 5 years its a bonus

im only 26 so got some time to play with as well
