Certifying documents in Australia

Copies certified by a Commissioner for
Declarations, Justice of the Peace or lawyer are
acceptable for all of the above.
What's a quick, cheap and easy way to do this in Australia?

Thx

I believe that JPs (Justice of the Peace) are not allowed to charge for this service. A couple of shopping centres near us have days where JPs set up and you can take any docs along.
I also believe that pharmacists are often JPs so could be worth asking!

I've also found that most branches of our bank (westpac) have a JP in them.

Libraries usually have a JP service once or twice a week, and like previously mentioned they can't charge you. A lot of bank Managers are also JP's :)

There are so many retired JPs in Hornsby Shire (Upper North Shore of Sydney) that they seem to have at least one available all day long at the library. They are all really nice and helpful people and they love a chat.

Or do what i did... go into a room that was quite busy and say 'Anyone a JP?' 3 put their hands up, all sorted in seconds.

Your local MP office will be full of JP's too!
