Default certifying documents

Hi all
I have been reading the many posts on here regarding certifying documents but still have 1 question. Like most we have a great deal of info to send off with our spouse vis app and need to certify copies of the obvious things like passports, birth certs, marriage cert etc. Also included are the things to prove we are in an ongoing and genuine relationship - stuff like joint bank statements, joint bills, morgage, payslips, family photos, family correspondence like cards to each other etc - does all of this also need to be certified or do we just send these as photocopies without certification?

thanks in advance

to prove mine and my partner's 6 year relationship - we supplied joint mortgage statement/letter showing the date we completed on our joint property purchase (which was 4 years previous) joint bank account/savings details, previous holiday invoices showing both our names, utility bills etc - and ALL had to be photocopied and certified. We didn't need to send any photo's or cards that we'd sent to one another (our agent seemed to think the other stuff we had was suffiicient).

Hi There

As far as i'm aware, everything needs to be certified. They don't won't any original paper work. I have just brought a stamp say Being the true original copy and stamping every page with it and then get the person to sign it ( Whoever you choose ).

I hope this helps

Cheers

HI,

at risk of being a bit pedantic.....is there actually a preferred statement which the signatory has to put? "I certify that this is a true copy of an original document" etc.,....???
