Can someone just clarify something for me. When applying for RPL, are you applying against one area of the CBOK or do you have to be aware of all the CBOK categories and be able to demonstrate an knowledge of them?
Is it also obligatory to cover one subject from Group 1 and at least one subject from group 2?

You have to show you have knowledge in as many (preferably all) areas of the CBOK. Although this seems a daunting task at first, on taking a closer look you should be able to relate aspects of your current IT role (whatever that is)to each area of the CBOK. You don't have to know eveything about each topic that is listed in each CBOK section.
Good luck with it.
