We've got 3 cats and it's going to cost around £2k inc. the quarantine fees the other end, best to get some quotes in, Golden Arrow seem to have the thumbs up from most on here, if you do a search you'll find some really helpful info on this subject.

I agree it is best to get a lot of quotes, we did and decided to go with Golden Arrow who weren't the cheapest but then again weren't the dearest and they do ask to book your moggie in 2-3 months befire they go ensuring they get the nearest quarantine station to you.

My cat is fat (5kg) so GA are charging £1017 and that includes everything needed to get your cat to the quarantine station (permits, checks, carraige box etc)
Quarantine £280
Jetpets (pickup from quarantine>airport, virgin blue flight & delivery to adelaide address $288.75

Good luck

Just under 3k for 3 of them. That includes quarantine on the other side. I'm still not sure if I'm taking them, and going to try to rehome them if at all possible.

Hiya,

We brought our cat out 3 months ago, and she cost us just under £1,400 and that includes the quarentine at this end, boarding with Golden Arrow for a week before she flew, plus we had to have her flown from Sydney up to the Gold Coast.

She arrived great, healthy and remembered us, which after 5 weeks we weren't sure she would....I know it's mad what you can worry about!!!

Hope it all works out ok.

We used Golden Arrow too, to Perth - they were brilliant.

We bought over 1 dog and 4 cats - it cost a small fortune - around £5k all told - gulp!

Give them a call, and I am sure they will help you.

All the best

Nicola

Hi,

I just booked our two cats with Airpets, approx £ 1300,- for two, not including quarantine fee the other end.

Hi,

Our 2 just under 1,500 pounds. That includes vet checks & mandatory treatments, ALL paperwork, permits both countries, transport from Golden Arrows (Shropshire) to Manchester airport, flight to Heathrow, flight via singapore to Sydney.

On top of this we have 30 days quarantine fee (approx Au$500), then flight from Sydney to Brisbane or Gold Coast airport, you can either pick them up yourselves or get them delivered to your door - this we're currently investigating.

Can't recommend Golden Arrow highly enough - good old fashion (no web site/email) personal service!
We used Golden Arrow after reading threads on here about them, yet again BE to the rescue.

Hope this helps.

Mrs Keebs.
