Catching up with watching Neighbours after emigrating?!
This will be a really sad question for most but for those who are also avid Neighbours fans, is there a way to not miss too many episodes seeing as Australia is quite a few weeks ahead of the UK?

Or, lets be honest, every soap allows people to pick it up within a few episodes and work out who is who...

The UK is 3 months behind. That is a lot of episodes to squish in. I just started watching it again when I got here from where it was upto.

Someone new moved into the close. They caused a bit of upset but someone already living there fell in love with them and they planned to get married. At this point someone else turned up saying they were the first stranger's spouse. There was a fire and a few people died (normally some new people who viewers had not taken to and an old close dweller). Someone discovers they are pregnant and everyone is very happy but then there's a disaster and they lose the baby but it's ok because then an orphan child appears sleeping rough near the pub and the people who lost the baby adopt the orphan child - because that's how it works.
The original parents of the orphan child then turn up and want their child back and everyone cries.
Repeat ad infinitum and you'll have caught up.
