Default Carpets & Paint - Perth

We are thinking of having new carpets fitted as we've washed our carpets but they still stink of cats and dogs.

Any suggestions on what companies are good to use for fitting carpets.

Where can we buy paint from other than Bunnings? Is the paint at Bunnings value for money?

Thanks

Look up the companies product data sheets for the paint you are considering purchasing. You'll need to look at the dry solids content of the paint and the amount of Titanium Dioxide in the solids content by volume, the higher TO2 the better. Some companies add cheaper materials such as talc and mica.
Generally speaking 100% acrylic resin is preferable however this will add to the angular side sheen of flat products.

For correct film thicknesses use the dry film thickness recommended by the manufacturer.
Remember at 1 mil dry film thickness paint will cover 1604 sq. ft.
Divide the coverage rate by the desired film thickness. Find the coverage rate for appropriate percent volume solids coating applied at recommended dry mils.
This should tell you how good the paint is from Bunnings

e.g. (1,604 x .50)/5 = 160 sq. ft./gal. @ 5 mils dry.

For the carpet you are on your own.

I always go to solver for paint too, if you are an rac member you will get a discount.

The last time i needed carpets i went to see Andyat Ocean Keys Carpets in Clarkson, he did me a really good deal, the service was quick and friendly and i would use them again.
