does anyone know if that u can get the English beer "Carling" in australia i have tried many a shop (QLD) and have not seen it yet

If I have to explain you obviously don't get it.

I have seen it in one bottleshop in Balmain, along with Special Brew. It wasn't cheap though - About $5 for a 500 ml can if I recall.

I was unwilling to spend that much on such piss water, and bought some nice imported Czech beer for the same price instead.

Carling is definitely a cooking lager.

Unfortunately yes, well in WA anyway, saw it in Liquor Barn in Osborne park (WA) a couple of months ago.

Dan Murphys is pretty big from what I recall in QLD, ask in one of them.

dont believe a word of this twiddle! Carling is a superb beer! Well its not quite the pi$$ that Fosters most definately is....and they are both brewed in the Town where I work! I think you might be able to get it at one of the micro breweries? There is one at Wanrana on the sunshine coast...but failing that Crown lager in Oz is superb!!
