Car Stereos question !!
Do the US Car Stereos work there in Oz Cars ? Anyone tried or know about this ?

I would have though so as long as the car is Negative earth!
So as long as you don't buy a 1960's-1970's car you should be alright

I just asked my Hubby about this and he said yes, the stereos should work as the US radios pick up the odd frequencies which is the same as Australia...as opposed to the even frequencies like the UK

Thanks for all the responses people !!!!
I just want to take it because it plays MP3s and I'm going to get a used car/pick-up for myself and it would be nice if I can use it there.
Its working good in my used car here and I'm going to remove it and replace it back with a radio that the car came with.
