Lightbulb Car Insurance [in Australia] any suggestions please

Just got a second car, and are looking to insure it before we pick it up next week, any suggestions on a cheap insurer, current car is with SGIO, but I remember thinking last time I renewed that it was a bit pricey. Any suggestions greatfully received as always.

In queensland and with RACQ. Good value for money. Second hand car also.

Cheers

I would suggest getting online, getting some phone numbers and ahopping around - can be a huge difference in price from insurer to insurer and even from year to year!!

I'm with SGIO too.

I got 5 other quotes and none of them beat SGIO.

Just insured with AAMI.

About $200 cheaper than others but check the small print.

Been with the RAC for years and years, but when we shopped around Western QBE were the best for us.

Become a Perth Glory member and that qualifies you for a 10% discount, no claims bonus doesn't get affected even if you do have a prang (or if the missus has a prang). Tell 'em you've shopped around and they seem to pull another 10% discount out the air!

When you do need them after a prang; no fuss - no nonsense ........... with us they went out of their way to get us back on the road again. Very impressed with them.
