Hello Debbie
Have you now submitted your application? Were hoping to submit ours in October, are you using an agent, if so which one?? Is all of your evidence 12 months old, some of ours isnt dated back 12 months, not sure if we will be successful.
Theres so much paperwork to get together, hope its all worth it

However, I believe you have to get statutory declarations from friends and family. Does anybody please have any defacto relationship information that you could possibly email to me my email address is ***removed***. Your help in this matter would be greatly received.

Kind regards

you need to be able to prove you have been living together for at least 12 months. If you can't do this, wait until you can otherwise you will be paying for 2 applications.

IMO using an agent for a DeFacto visa application is not really necessary. You can download the forms, get the medical and police checks done, bundle it all together and away you go. Any problems/difficult questions - ask here! And save yourself a lot of money in the process.

Of course, everyone's circumstances are different, but if you haven't spent time in prison and don't have a serious illness, then you can do it yourself.

I'd imagine agents love people who are applying for Married/DeFacto visas - easy money!
