As the title suggests. This is one thing I do miss. Anyone have any idea? I have Internet radio too if that helps. And nope you can't get five live due to licenses or something. The coverage is rubbish here

5 live

It will ask you to open media player, then ask to allow web content. And away you go.......

We have no trouble receiving internet radio all round the world including R5 live.
What trouble are you having getting R5 live?
We also get streaming TV using unlimited broadband (TPG), which is quite good. Have you tried that?

When I listen through Internet or Internet radio it says something like this content isn't available due to licensing agreements. That happens for football matches in 5 live too. Odd that it is ok for you guys

Sign up for a VPN like My Private Network, and then just watch on the BBC website.

This was a topic of conversation for us today. We're looking to emigrate in the new year all being well and the F1 is one thing we'll miss, I just don't know what I'd do without EJ's fortnightly wacky shirts and glasses combo!!

Yes, sorry I was p!ssed and missed the first bit!! it should have read:

Run a program called expat shield (google) and then click the link.

I find expat shield shite for video but fine for radio.

I use Expat Shield, seems OK for (iPlayer) video for me.

Or check out the links here:
http://www.myp2p.eu/index.php?part=sports

Some streams need specialist software (easy installs) and the quality is variable but it's worth a gander for all kinds of sport.

Canadian GP starts about 3am here, might give that one a miss ...

I am going to tape it and get up early!

To the OP, I don't understand why you say the coverage is crap. The actual TV race coverage and commentary is exactly the same as UK coverage complete with Brundle and Coulthard.

True, the commercial breaks are pants though. I watched Kill Bill Vol 1 last night, I swear it was over 3 hours long ... my viewing of Volume 2 will have no commercials thanks to the wonders of technology ... Commercial TV will die eventually ...

I remember when ITV first got the F1 rights in the UK, everyone complained about the adverts. I agree though, adverts are pants!

It's wot funds the coverage though. I don't usually watch films on commercial TV but last night was a particularly lazy and couldn't be arsed to pick a DVD or some other digital thang.

He's a trooper for sure, a real team player, just you remember his nobel deed

I remember those days ... it's the only time I have been awake for an Anzac Day dawn.
