money that is. im really confused...which dont take a lot.......im going out on a 457, ive got a job as a nurse. ive been reading about salary packaging (or something like that) and L something something something. can i have it all, even thou i dont know what it is.

hooray................i will be loaded

i doubt it.... bet they wont give it to me. ive been reading posts on L something etc, and i havnt got a house in the uk cos its rented and im giving it back....cant remember what my new employer said about it, i will probably have to sell my body to feed the kids

wont get much for it

Not sure how you stand there. We have a property & mortgage in the UK still. Saying that we haven't had to show anything to prove this so maybe it makes no difference. You are entitled if you are living away from your usual residence. That is why as soon as you show an interest for PR it stops.
By the way it's called Living Away From Home Allowance, aka LAFHA. If you do a search on here there's loads of threads on it.

uuummmm maybe i could tell a little fib and say ive got a massive house and a massive mortgage in the uk.

You don't need to have massive house or mortgage to qualify for LAFHA or any residence in UK. It just has to be where you would be living as your home if you were't relocating.

Its a bit of a loophole at the moment.
