Have just returned from Mt. Eliza at end of August. Fanatastic place, Mornington and Frankston equally as great. The weather was very cold got down to under 5's at night, the views, wildlife and beaches are too much for words. We loved the birds, not horrible magpies, lovely coloured Rosellas landing in your garden. Our kids had a great time, plenty to do even when the weather is rubbish. Mornington is a secret favourite, the main street has a great market on wednesdays, there is a picture further up the forum. We stayed for a month with family and hope to go out in a couple of years when I finish my degree. Feel free to ask any other questions as i did live in eastern suburbs as a child, returning to U.k aged 13. Cheers and have a good holiday!
