Question Can anyone recommend a suburb/area?

Ok so we've exhausted realestate.au and domain.au etc but was wondering if a few people could make some recommendations from our shopping list of some areas that might suit us?
We HOPE for:
1/ Being within 30-45 mins of port of Brisbane (above or below city)
2/ Near to a good school (private/state) 3 year old to start in 2011
3/ Acerage (3000/4000 or so)
4/ 4/5 bedroom houses
5/ Doesn't have to be near the sea but not middle of nowhere either
6/ Dont mind a short drive to public transport
7/ Would like to be amongst native Australians as well(ie not in an area purely populated by us English !!!)

Any ideas gratefully received

I think if you find a place that fulfils 1-6, ,considering this is what everyone else is probably looking for, you may not get 7 as a result ;-)

How much are you hoping to spend on a house?

Have you actually had a look at a map of Brisbane? If it's not on realestae.com or domain, you'd be pretty hard to find a place to live.
My suggestion is a)have a look at a map of Brisbane, pick some areas that meet criteria and then, b)relate the areas to realestate.com or domain.

Mount Cotton may just scrape into that 30 - 45 travelling distance.

Have looked at some in Jimboomba but wasn't sure whether it would be too far to travel, same with Greenbanks.

What about above Brisbane?
