We used www.southerncrossalliance.com.au for our 457 Visa and we're also using them now for our PR. Very highly recommended.

Hi,

it doesn't really matter if your agent is UK or Oz based. But make sure they are MARA registered.

We used "Go Matilda" and were very happy with them. Check out their website: http://www.gomatilda.com

Other agents that get consistently good reviews on this forum are George Lombard and Ian Harrop. Don't have their website details, but if you do a "search" they'll pop up.

Would highly recommend George Lombard really has a in-depth knowledge of the whole immigration process..
Go with whom you feel happiest makes no difference where agent is located really!

Just make sure that whatever agent you use is approved by DIMIA - a friend of ours got taken for a ride by their agent. Check on the DIMIA website and it gives you a list of approved ones. We used Global Visas and they were excellent.

George Lombard is excellent, you always know where you stand and what you have to do and I found the service and communication more personal prompt. Highly recommended.

We used Helen Burnard from CLB Littlejohn Frazer. They were brilliant and reasonably priced. Helen is a JP so you don't have to go to a solicitor to have your documents witnessed

Hi there we are using www.1stcontact.co.uk and we have had no problems with them. A few of our friends recommended them to us and a couple of them are heading out in July having completed the whole application.
One of the things that appealed to us was the fact that they offered no visa - no fee. We paid half of the fee on instruction £750 + vat and the other half when they submitted our application. Good luck with who ever you chose.

Graham Mander & Associates www.tasmanian-migration.com.au. Based in Tassy but cover whole Australia. Our contact was Jonathon Mander who now works for Immigration an Adelaide. These guys have been in the business for years. We did all our contact through email and they were great. They got us state nomination for Victoria.

We thought we didn't have enough points but they got us in no problem.
