Calling Alan Collet!!

Hi,
I know you look at this forum sometimes.
We have just signed up with your company, I wondered if you could advise whether Geelong or Adelaide (south, rather than north of it) would be better for my hubby who is a Mechanical Engineer/Fitter?
Also he waterskiis, so would need a lake nearby.
Thanks,
Niki

Agents can't help you on where to live. THey are there only to help you with your assessments and Visa.
How would Alan know what sort of job your hubby wants, or where he would like to live. Some things you have to do for yourself

I wasn't asking about what job my hubby wants! I was merely stating his profession and I know Alan lives in Geelong, so would know if it was a good area for that!

Unless Alan is looking for a career change, then why would you expect him to know where the best area for jobs in Mechanical Engineering/fitting are??
Try looking for jobs on www.seek.com.au then you will be able to locate where the jobs are.
I'm sure you'd rather Alan concentrated on your application rather than looking for you a job

Hello Niki!
I can't compare Geelong with Adelaide in an employment context - I don't know enough about Adelaide.
Here in Geelong Skilled Engineering are a name I know (as they sponsor the Geelong Cats footy stadium!) ... maybe try contacting them:
http://www.skilled.com.au/employees/employees.aspx
Not sure whether they can help, but might be worth a telephone call.
As to lakes and water-skiing ... hmmm ... a chap I know water skis on the Barwon River in Geelong, but there are some larger lakes to the north of the State where you can water ski. There's also a mass of water to the south of us!
Best regards.
