I loved Cairns when we stayed there for 3 months, and we're pretty sure this is where we're going to head for!

sorry leigh but when your working outside i dont think you ever get used to the humidity you just accept it and put up with it. after all none of us have to be here if we dont want to. it is also hard to appreciate how humid it gets unless you are working outside in it day after day. doing a few hours in the garden is not the same. i am drinking up to 6 litres of water a day at the minute to try and stay hydrated but that has its problems as you constantly feel bloated. i have found that most people who find the wet season ok usually live an air conditioned life.

lol no, I was'nt reffering to that post, I meant.. Wheres park ridge, is it near palm cove?
