Default Buying a home-Gold Coast/Sunshine Coast/Brisbane

Im just after a little feedback to ask what kind of property i could buy on the Gold Coast/Sunshine Coast/Brisbane areas for around $450,000.

Ideally we are looking to buy a 4/5 bedroom home, with swimming pool but are unsure if this amount will buy us what we would want.

Thanks

Rob

Depends on the area that you want to settle in.

Have you looked at www.realestate.com.au?

In some parts of the Sunshine coast houses have got very expensive. We were in Noosa a few years ago and it looked reasonable. It is now expensive.

There are cheaper places around but they will be away from the coast or less desirable areas. Ditto for Brisbane. Don't know about the GC.

The figure you are talking about is probably not enough for what you want in many areas.

I am sure people living there can give much more advice though.

Good luck
