Default Businesses in Geelong Area

Hi,

This maybe a real silly question, is there a business area in Geelong? If so what is it called or do you know a link to it?

Thanks,
KayC

KayC,

There's not a separately identifiable central business district in Geelong. Rather there's the city centre where the shops and a number of office based businesses are located - Malop Street/Moorabool Street/Brougham Street/Yarra Street/Ryrie Street/etc.

Best regards.

Alan,

Do you know if there is an industrial park or similar there?

Thanks,
KayC

There are none that I'm immediately aware of.

Best regards.

There's lots of industry around Geelong, but no real industry parks.
North Geelong has loads of industry (Ford, Pilkington glass), Moolap is zoned light industrial, Pt Henry has Alcoa and cheetham saltworks, Corio has Shell oil refinery.
