Some thing the size of Screwfix would do really well in OZ, well I think it would.

How about a shop selling clothes that arent dull. Every shop is just like Next or River Island. Bondi Junction is the worst people should have show laces and belts removed as they enter in case they try and take their own life as they browse in Myer. If H&M opened up Australia's retail industry would immediately grind to a halt.

Hope this helps.

Paddington and Bondi Beach are not bad to be honest. On a serious note why havent topshop and H&M ever entered the Australian market? They could probably open about 20 stores across the country perhaps more and they'd have zero competition.

IMHO These shops are fine if you want to look like everyone else walking down the street, if you are looking to be individual in your clothing there are many great boutiques in Australia (Glasgow sadly lacks a lot of these due to nothing else but high street stores) that range from the sublime to the rediculous both in price & attire. Paddington Markets if they still do them on a Saturday morning used to be a fantastic place to shop for reasonably priced unique but wearable clothing. Ever thought it's maybe the UK fashions that are wrong? Lets face it the Aussies were miles ahead of the ugg boot craze maybe it will just take a bit of time for H&M etc to catch up to the Aussie trends However that said the stores you mention would do a roaring trade with expats
