We were burgled 14/2/05, my sister caught them and gave me a call at work to come home and find the house in a shambles. Amazing how at first we thought it was just all our DVDs, but today we started to pack and found that our fave sports bag had gone, not noticed, maybe housed the DVDs. But I've just been going through my ski gear to find that my Decente jacket, and to anyone who skis will know that it ain't cheap, has gone !!!! Really P*ssy ! And a bit teary to be honest ! W@nkers ! Only now we're realising what they must have stolen.......

Oh that really sucks, can you still claim on the insurance for it? I was burgled too It's horrible, I sympathise with you.

I can sympathise 'cos it's happened to me too. They took all mine and the kids jewellery (christening/communion). Can't be replaced And then when they asked me to list what's missing - well, that was impossible to do.
Speak to your insurance company and ask if it's still possible to claim.

I know how you feel. Just when you think you are starting to get over it you find something else that they must have taken and it brings all those horrible feelings back. We were discovering missing things for nearly a year. In fact I still blame them if I cant find something and it was 3 years ago in our old house
The hardest part for me was the anger that I had inside but nowhere to direct it.
Keep you chin up, dont know your history but if you areare on this site and packing then you are off to a new life and you can put it all behind you.
