Spent a week at bagarra recently which is quiet but nice and 15 minutes drive from bundaburg. The town has most of the shops and facilities you could find anywhere else but still has country feel. I took a look as I had the chance to move with work from the Gold Coast. Wife wasnt keen as there were a few bogans and the look with no teeth seemed to be the theme if you no what I mean. I think you are too far away from major facilities as someone said its about 5 hours drive from Brisbane. Then again it might suit your needs and lifestyle.
