Re: Bunbury W.A
Have been watching this thread.
Hubby works in Albany and we'll be having family over in December. We were thinking of going up north for a week but I think it will be too hot.
Has anyone any more ideas on where we could go and what we could do 'down south'?
Thanks, Tracey

Hi Tracey,
we live in Nannup, about 60 kms south of Busselton. This area is great in summer, lots to see and do, and nice and cool at night. There are lots of swimming holes and big shady trees too, and the wineries and art galleries are much nicer and cheaper than the big commercial ones in Margaret River. Have a look around Bridgetown and Pemberton as well, its well worth it! Happy travels!

Karri Valley Resort is excellent. It isn't cheap but it has so much to do for the kids and adults alike. It is just north of Pemberton. Lots of winerys, a lovely lavender berry farm, steam train/tram rides all within a short drive. Its wonderful down there. Picture is of the lake that the chalets overlook. Lots of walks, fishing, cycling. We have been down quite a few times now, its one of our favourite places.
