Bt Teelephone Conversion
I have a BT digital phone with answerphone(Diverse 3016 Classic) can Iget this convertwd or adapted to work in Australia?

legally - yes, but it will cost you about a gazillion dollars to have it inspected and tested to australian standards.
illegally - yes, because it is a massively simple procedure. but you can be fined up to $10k if you get caught.

if you are asking is there a commercial organisation that will alter the phone and test it against australian standards, i am sure there are plenty. though it would have to be a pretty special phone to pay over $2k+++ for all the testing and formal approval (because you are petitioning to bring 1 telephone in, not a batch of a 1000, it is a very expensive prospect).
unless it is a phone that you cannot live without, that your will is made out to and cooks your breakfast, dont waste your money.
