Yes.

Don't think there's any vegetable, common in the UK, that you can't get here. Can't think of any, anyway..

Can be seasonal, you might have difficultly getting round Christmas My mate tried everywhere bu could only find the huge ones. It wasn't until April I could find them easily. Markets might be better than supermarket stores. This is for Sydney.

I bought some last week from our local Lebanese greengrocers- but have not seen them in Coles yet. The Lebanese shop always has in-season veg, this might be the case in most places, so you may need to try smaller independents to find them.

They were delicious!

I love sprouts and have had them from Woolies and IGA and, in both cases, they were terrible. No taste, full of grit etc.

So, anyone know where in Perth, preferably SOR, I can get decent ones?

Don't forget that Brussels sprouts are a winter vegetable and winter hasn't started yet. No sprouts that you find in the shops right now are going to be the best - wait a couple of months until they're properly in season and they'll be fine.

I usually pick out my own spouts from the pile - search for the smallest ones I can find and they're fantastic. Leave the giant ones behind. Woollies were selling pre-packaged 'baby' sprouts last year and they were really nice, too.

I like them steamed with butter and parmesan cheese. Yum. Funny, I never tried them until I was about 30. My mother doesn't like them so she never made them. Poor old thing doesn't know what she's missing.
