I found a small cheat recently. Bigpond systems must be a bit slow to work out you have gone over the 25Gb and strangle your pipe. So in the run up to the end of the month I get as close as I can to the 25Gb. Then when I get in from work on the last day I download everything I can and get up to 30Gb or so before it ticks over to the next month.

Being brought up with tight-arsed parents something like that really please me

Do I dare try it? If it doesn't work I will have to suffer dial up for 24 hours

I might even have to get off my arse and go and do some exercise if that happens

Yeah but I have been with Sam for nearly 15 years and a lot of that ability to spend like Ivana Trump has rubbed off on me.

I hardly ever saw my dad lose his temper. But I remember once being in That London and the ticket inspector wouldn't believe that me and my brother were under 14 (we were) so made us pay full fare (Something like 80p rather than 40p). I have never seen him so angry. I thought he was going to deck the guy.

I telephoned Telstra to comfirm exactly what i had..they said i had Unlimited downloads..Liberty package..$69 a month. It would just go slower if i started to download over 12G, which i don't.

So still a good deal i reckon.

I'd only consider it 'unlimited' if there is no point at which your speed gets throttled. $69 for 12Gb isn't great - I used to pay iinet $49 for 20Gb in conjunction with landline.

It works for me, since i don't go over the 12G...i use my telephone service with them too, because of this my phone bills are alot cheaper, so it evens out.
