Bit of a long shot as I know most people are moving from the UK, but I was wondering if there are any brits out there who have moved from the USA to Oz? We are currently in Maine and will be moving to Melbourne in May directly from here (hubby has a job at Melbourne Uni). Things I am interested in finding out about include:

-The best way to transfer US dollars to oz (and not lose even more with the dismal excgange rate!)
-experiences with US moving companies
-getting medicals done whilst not in your home country.
