Re: Brisbane Suburbs
Funny you should say that but I did broach the subject with the kids on Monday and they absolutely freaked at the idea. They didnt mind coming half way around the world but the thought of moving 20km's down the road was just too much for them.
I suppose this is a good thing and at least means that they both like the schools that they are in now. My husband and I decided that we will move that way when they kids leave home, which should be about 10yrs time all going to plan :D My husbands Uncle and Aunt live in Graceville, they have lived there for 60+yrs, so each time that we have visited Oz we have always visited Graceville, just didnt realise how much I liked it till now. I did see the balcony etc on the bridge, I said to my husband it looks like someone might live there. It definitely is the nicest bridge I have ever seen, I am not good at heights so dont appreciate the big bridges of the world :D Oh my god what has happened to me, it must be the heat!!! I have become a twitcher and sit in the garden with my bird book for at least an hour a day, I am taking photos of bridges and I watch the sky so much at night that I have seen 3 shooting stars in 3 weeks. Isn't life GRAND!

If you seriously are considering the Sherwood/Graceville area give me a yell, I grew up there & know it pretty well. Its a really great area, not many to beat it in Brisbane suburbia :) . As for the Walter Taylor Bridge LOL dont know about it being the nicest bridge, but I used to walk across it when I was a teenager & worked at Indooroopilly Shopping Town. Did you see the little windows, balcony & stuff up the top & the doors at each end under the arches, it used to be a toll bridge years & years ago & those bits at the end were where the toll keepers lived :) . A balcony with a view (& a bit of traffic noise ;) ) |

Claire xxx Been so busy doin our other sites, and kinda need to recoup some funds into the timber cash pot lol. I have a new manager running our Uk floorin business, and hes come over to Australia, so I can teach him the ropes, so my times being ripped in all directions. Renaming pages, and links is prettty simple. As far as links go, perhaps consider using a automated links directory on your site so ppl can add links automatically. I have a few scripts knockin about but they can be a bitch to implement, if your not offay with ftp and chmod. Why not try constant contacts free email newsletter software, its a doddle to use, and gives professional results when contacting new clients, or giving out info pertinent to your site. Your sites lookin good, you should have more than 539 hits by now, email me and ill send you our Site Submitter program, just download it. Load it up and enter in website details and click go. You can submit a page at a time . Just a tip if you use it, set up a gmail account as the nominated email for your links, because you will get tons of replies ! Also your metas could do with some work girlie !!!! Email me when you get chance and ill sort ya out ;) as per lol Steve all the best |

Isn't life GRAND! My parents bought a house in Sherwood in 1941 & it only got sold a couple of years ago when my mum died. She lives there for 52 years & my brother, sister & myself all grew up there. I just love that area, Ive suggested it to heaps of people on here (along with Bulimba), but as yet no one (that I know of) has moved there. LOL @ you beng a twitcher, sounds like you & Netta would make a good pair right now :D . |
