As long as my flowers grow and I have beer and no deluges here, I'll be happy. ;)

Overtime is good though.

Living in Melbourne now, woke up in night to howling winds and at 6am taking son to station it was 12C but felt much colder as the wind cut through you. Just fantastic to wake up to cold though.

Life here much more eventful, woke up the previous night at 2.30 am, to find 2 men trying to break into the empty unit next door:eek:, its a new complex think they were after builders gear and appliances.

The UV index won't be any higher than normal just because it's hot! In fact it's currently under 5 in Brisbane.

Good to know, but I try no to swim between 10.30 and 2.30 without a shirt.

Didn't get above 36 in Carindale and on its way down now. Hot enough to turn the AC on though!

Buses in chaos today, they claim that the heat was causing them to break down. 25 minutes wait to get a bus from Windsor to Chermside ( normally 5 tops) and 40 minutes wait at vhermside for a bus that runs every 15 minutes.

Wrong kind of heat apparently :sneaky:

It's about 28 here but there's a lovely sea breeze as well so it's really nice. She says sitting inside with the windows open and the ceiling fan on.

Sounds perfect to me. I love the sea breeze and would love to live by the coast. Maybe one day. :fingerscrossed:

This southerly coming through is perfect. Fans are off and it's just brilliant.
