I am acting for Polly and putting a new thread up to remind you all there is a drinks night on Tuesday and attendance is required.

Location is Gilhooleys, on the corner of Albert Street and Charlotte Street in Brisbane CBD. They sell Guinness, and Bulmers cider, amongst other tipples, which makes it a perfect meeting place.
Usually one of us there from 5.15ish onwards, and I'm happy to pm my mobile number to anyone who needs it.

If the storms die down I might get Tuesday night off (phew!), so I'll turn up........I've been on nights all week, forgotten what daylight is!

No, she's just doing her public service bit and posting for me as I'm a bit busy sorting out tarps and ropes for the SES......

Well come on you lot, I have the night off tomorrow (unless God changes his mind and sends us another deluge) so I need to get out and drink a lot.....its been a looooong week, and they are threatening more of the same for the rest of the season.
