Default Brisbane Bayside Website

Found this recently which may be of interest to potential bayside settlers:

http://redland.yourguide.com.au/home.asp

Lots of local news etc and good property section

Looks as though it may be in it's infancy so one to keep an eye on in the future??

Apologies if it's been mentioned on here before

Cheers

BD

PS I am not linked to the aforementioned website in any way. Came across it by accident on Google whilst looking for holiday accom in Bayside area for April 2006

Hi BD, have you checked out our local bayside forum?

http://s6.invisionfree.com/BrisbaneBaysideBrits

ABC's webpage has a range of accommodation links as well.

Thanks for the info Mrs D

Ideally, what we're looking for is a 3/4 bedroomed house in a peaceful, scenic location with good access to shops, facilities, schools and the CBD, with a pool and suitable for a family of 4 with 2 young kids -> hey isn't everybody???!!!

The reason for this (as opposed to booking into a hotel etc) is to allow us to spend our 2 weeks in Brisbane in April 2006 getting a feel for living out there as this is where we envisage settling once (if) our visas are approved.

We know that we won't be able to explore everywhere in the 2 weeks we are there but if we can get a feel for the place as well as being able to spend some time doing the tourist thing around Brisbane and the Gold and/or Sunshine Coast then our 2 weeks will be time well spent

Regards

BD

Maybe for locals but for Brits it's not. Water temp will still be 22C if not more.
