www.whereis.com.au reckon its 16 mins, 9.4km, to Roma Street.

The hotel people may class the CBD as starting a bit closer to them.

According to whereis; 9 mins puts them at Breakfast Creek Rd, Albion, and 12 minutes at Ann Street, Fortitude Valley.
