Default Break down on costs ?

Do you think these costs are about right ?

cost of moving £5,000
cost of immigration £3,000
cost of renting (6 months) £3,000
cost of living 12 months £9,000

I know things differ ie what you want to rent and how you live but these are rough figures and will i be alright working from this ?

Well, I'd say a simple yes to that, roughly speaking of course

Cost of living is way too low, $20,000 , but as you said it does depend on how you live & whether you have a family or not etc. Cost of renting is a little low, but it does depend on where you are moving to & which suburb & what you want for your money as well.

Cant help with the migration part sorry, but someone else will be able to.

Well you put pounds, so I was converting what you said in pounds to $ at approx 2.4 conversion rate & worked it out from there.

Trust me, $20,000 isnt much to live on for a whole year, even if you dont have a family!

The cost of immigration depends on a lot of things. For instance, whether you use an agent, and how many people are going on the visa, as the cost of medicals/police checks etc has to be considered.

Everything I suppose depends on how you do it, where you do it, who you do it with etc, coz everything's different...if you know what I mean
