If you go to www.pricerunner.co.uk and do a search, you'll find that there are 3 or 4 other outlets that can do it cheaper.

I got so excited when I read your post, I love Bill Brysons books! I quickly went online to check it out but having read the first page of "Down Under" it seems to me that is the same book as "In a sunburned country", just re-badged. Correct me if I'm wrong. I was soooo disappointed!

Y'know Pete, you might have something there!!! I expect they thought the Yanks might not understand "Down Under" and mistake it for a book on plumbing or something!!!

Cheers, Wannabe Wallaby

I took a look at price runner and can not be bothered sifting through that lot to find a book. I notice the other link goes to Amazon and I have used them before so trust them.

...."in a sunburnt country".
Think you might be right its the same book by the looks of it. Ended up buying about six books and a video using the search facility on movingdownunder.

Pixie

If you go to Australian Books

There is a search box for any subject you care to search for, also links to books for Perth, Adelaide etc. depends where you want to go, also, street maps.

Plus at the bottom of page is a link to thousands of books on Oz. Plus videos etc.

Can not reccomend indvidual books, but any of the links show the top 5 and have reviews and stuff.
