How long as it taken from sending your meds, to being requested bond money!

all the best plum

Hi Plumber,

Going by austimeline, the average is about 3-4 weeks. Our agent has just sent off the extra info that has been requested. Meds and checks are done and sent, so we're expecting to be asked for the bond money in a few weeks. Already arranged with the bank to release the money, they just need 7 days notice. Account opened with HIFX, sent emails to the treasury depts in 5 states to find the best interest rate, so we're ready to go!!!

Steve.

No, not yet. As soon as we're asked I'll get the money transfered from the bank to HIFX then sent to a treasury bond. Exchange rate looks a bit better lately, though.

Hiya Plum

we got our bond request about a month after the meds. We sent emails to all of the Treasury depts and then decided which one we wanted to use.

We lodged ours with Qld as they were the most helpful even though the rate was slightly lower. It is pretty easy and all you have to do is basically fax them a copy of the form they send you when you have made the transfer. Make sure you ask them how much their bank charges to accept the transfer.

Any questions please ask.
