Bixteria Waffleloticus
Bixteria Waffleloticus is indigenous to the far South West of UK and there are plans to introduce this rare species to Victoria during 2004.
A family of 4 will be lifted from their natural habitat and shipped to the Ballarat region. Whether they will be able to cope with the change in weather and environment only time can tell.
This beast has rarely been seen outside of the borders of Cornwall but the locals often wish it was the other way round.
The male is a noble specimen standing over 6 feet tall and is easily recognisable by a very pronounced humerus. It is said he creates enough hot air in a day to fill 2 Virgin ballons.
The female is the dominant family member and is oft seen running around like a headless chicken. The continual idiotic antics of the male frequently annoys her so she regularly cuffs him and bodily prevents him from gaining access to oats which appears to be their staple diet.
The two young who complete the group are almost old enough to fend for themselves yet seem unwilling to take part in daily activities. They are especially reluctant to change habitat even when greener grass is on offer.
Zoologists from the university of South Windup will monitor and track their progress by means of pasty implants.
Alas we shall have to wait to see how this story unfolds as there is a lot of red-tape to overcome before the project can begin.
