Red face Bit of a worry!

Slight panic attack - I am going to be applying for our visa in April (spouse defacto) but have booked a trip away to France in May so will need my passport - completely forgot about this little factor when I booked the flights!

Now slightly panicked that I won't have my passport back in time.

Probably a stupid question but do I have to send the passport in with the application or can I get the visa put in at a later date?

The visa sticker in the passport is the very last stage! - thats where you get to 'whoop' etc! Can't remeber now but perhaps you have to have certified copies of your passport photo page. Either way, its no biggy.
