best web sites to read on oz!
Just in the very 1st stages of move to oz and am unsure best place to hit. Work as a plasterer but do not want site work. Thinking in the suburbs of a meduim city.

yes my eldest is 17 but unsure if she will take the plunge and might return to her mother(tuff call)

Well unfortunately for you, she will still need to have a medical, sorry.
All your dependants need to have health and character checks regardless of whether they are migrating or not. You will also have to have your ex's permission in writing or a court order saying you have sole responsibility before they will let you have a visa.
