Best thing about Australia?
Besides the beer, the women, the cost of living, the climate, the people, the general attitude, the beaches, the natural beauty, what do you love about Australia?

As for your points I generally agree apart from COL which is similar to the the UK and general attitude - there are plenty of miserable, whinging, up-themselves people here.

COL is cheaper here, look at petrol, booze, food, tv license, council rates, drugs, prostitutes *
doesn't mention rent or buying a house or broadband *

To give it some balance, things I like about Oz
a) QANTAS Airways
-- loads better quality than Air NZ
b) Bushell's Tea -- loads tastier than cr*p Bell/Dilmar Tea
c) Garden City area in Brisbane
-- loads of beautiful trees around
d) Glorious warm evening
-- feel great and nice to walk around in the evening
e) Cheaper Pineapples
f) NO STRONG HARSH WINDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
At the end of the day, there's no paradise on this planet
