Re: Best suburbs in Busselton
I might be wrong, however, thought that Busselton was a town and therefore you lived in Busselton, not in a suburb of Busselton. Correct me here if I'm wrong people? It's probably a question of which area/street to live in this town, closer to the beach obviously the better.
in the meantime whilst someone useful answers your question, here's some info about Busso http://www.busselton.wa.gov.au/

I'm almost 100% sure it is the case. We have passed through a few times and have friends who live there and I'm sure they just live on such and such road, Busselton WA.
not sure how up to date this is http://bonzle.com/c/a?a=p&p=281622&c...=40000&mpsec=0
If you're talking about the Shire of Busselton, then that's a different question. The Shire contains two large towns, Busselton and Dunsborough, and a number of smaller towns

There are areas/suburbs in Busso, mainly as a result of new developments.
There is poster called "teza" on here who lived there. She's not every day but usually fairly regularly. Or you could PM her.

"Best suburbs in Busselton" - that's an oxymoron.

Re: Best suburbs in Busselton
Hi, yes, not often here but used to live in Busso for nearly a decade. Depending on what you are after (schools mainly), I'd look at Old Broadwater, Vasse, Cloisters, Peppermint park area, all good areas, first two mentioned are newer and hence bigger houses. Also within walking distance from both high schools and couple of primary schools.
I would stay clear of East Busselton and Port Geographe area unless you like constant headache from seaweed stink (has been a continuous problem in those places for years and unlikely to resolve any time soon). Also with those two areas there are swamps, therefore snakes and mozzies (to the point where the shire send a truck in to fumigate the mozzies once a week or so). Have lived in both ends of Busso and east is the only one where snakes (dugites) could be found on front lawns
Central Busselton has smaller houses so if no kids, one you could look at, they are older houses but larger rooms, tend to be 3 x 1 at the most though.
If looking for bigger block, great areas for those within 5 minutes from town would be Kalgaritch, Willow grove and Country Road areas. Latest suburb to pop up is provence, they have one private school late with long waiting list and not even a deli nearby, although shopping centre is planned.
Hope this helps, if any more questions, just fire away!
....And to those comics saying it's a small town, most passing through only take the bypass or Busso highway thru town and would be surprised how big it actually is

Re: Best suburbs in Busselton
If building, options are more limited as Busso didn't free much land for building for ages but now the areas to build are Provence and Vasse, with some land still available at Old Broadwater area.
