And the "Best State" award goes to...
Hey,
It's not like me to stage competitions, but I just had to start this one!
Noticed a lot of people remarking on which state/area in Australia is the best, so I thought I would put up a poll! I will put the main states down, if anyone wants to get specific and name the area they live in, then just leave a message with your entry...

It's kind of self explanatory...Best State...There is no category except for 'Which is the best (in your opinion)?'

Re: And the "Best State" award goes to...
...again it would be better to rename the poll, "the most popular state", esp as those in WA have to travel quite a bit to be able to compare the rest of the states in the east.

"Best State/Most Popular State"
It's all the same thing IMO. Most people will answer the poll as a matter of opinion as to which they personally think the better state is. However, if the thread name is really that much of a problem, if it NEEDS to be changed then that's cool by me...However I don't have the authority to change the post name, so let's let Pollyana decide...

Look at it from another angle, the Toyota Corolla is apparently one of the most popular cars about, but I would dooubt you could say it was one of the best.
...but in the end it's your poll.

I personally believe that there's no "best state" overall; only a state that's best for you.
With this qualification, I have voted for South Australia.

WA and QSLD have around the same population level from my understanding.
The most populous state is NSW closely followed by VIC

I'd like to see what it pans out like towards the end of the poll date.
