Brothe-in-law lives in an apartment in Footscray. Very convenient for train and a nice bike ride too.
Area is mainly oriental in flavour with good cheap asain eats available and some quirky little bars around plus the Plough is a nice pub with good grub.
There are your dodgy looking black africans in the streets but they didn't seem to be a problem.
Oh, and the park nearby is very nice and couples etc walk there at the weekends.
