My friend is visiting from oversea later this month. Wd you recommend several good bars / pubs for ladies for out about town? CBD preferably but other areas are welcomed. We're in our 30s. Thank you so much!!

i'm assuming your talking about Sydney,
head to the Opera Bar by the opera house! gets very busy, good atmosphere, live music some nights, and a damn good view!

The Rocks area, perhaps?
If you can leg it I'd head to "The Hero of Waterloo," a wonderful, classic pub only several minutes away by foot.

Yes I'm in Sydney. Thank you. Any other ones? I don't go for drinks at night very often but I'm sure my friend would like to let her hair down and enjoy the pub scene here.

depends what you scene / budget is!
the Ivy pool bar can be 'interesting', there are a few places in darling harbour too! - the slip in for e.g.
and there are loads of other places on George street too,
